Nicola has always loved learning, and when she left school discovered the joy of sharing that knowledge. She has managed to accumulate knowledge, skills and teaching credits for subjects as diverse as horseback riding, food safety and hygiene, desktop publishing, business and local government finance, business computing and high school science.

She has currently retired from the corporate rat race, but keeps her hand in it with a bit of consulting (including helping out with a software emergency whilst shopping in her local supermarket), a bit of training, and writing novels.

Nicola has never been able to decide what she wants to be when she grows up and has therefore decided not to. She has decided simply to grow old disgracefully and only do things if she can have fun.
